James William Diner has been 30 years in the making… from conception to opening in 2021. The founders are a husband and wife team, Andrew & Cynthia St Ange.

As such, the company’s name continues the legacy of James William St Ange, Andrew’s father. The diner will be the legacy that our children inherit.
Our vision is to produce a blend of authentic Caribbean dishes to suit the local palate, whilst keeping the authenticity and taste of the Caribbean.
Our unique range of smokehouse specialities is slow-cooked for up to 8 hours in our in-house smoker.
At James William Diner, we use a blend of herbs and spices to vibrantly marinate selected cuts of meat and poultry to create a uniquely tantalising flavour which is, out of this world!
We are committed to minimising our carbon footprint by ensuring that our packaging is made from sustainable and biodegradable materials.
Where possible, our energy is sourced from renewable providers.
Additionally, we partner with Sustainably Run which offers our customers the opportunity to plant a tree when dining with us.
We are very proud to be a Sustainably Run Certified restaurant!
We at James William Diners believe it is important to connect and give back to our local community. And as such, we have a program which is focused on doing just that.
Our ‘Breakfast And The Word’ (B&W) outreach programs enable members of the public to come and eat, socialise, be encouraged and be listened to in a casual comfortable non-judgmental setting with a Christian ethos at heart.
This event will run for two hours only on a Sunday morning from 8 – 10am and will be located at our shop.
